Relationships. They say it's based on love, trust and compatibility. Well me, I'm not really sure what it is based on or what actually it is.

I mean, look at this. I say I like you, and I will do anything to prove how much I love you. You asked for a cold glass of water. But all I have is a glass of water and I keep on fanning it until it gets cool. And then comes someone with ice.

We all have expectations. We try to meet the expectations of those who we love. We put all our efforts to give them what they want, trying to meet their expectations, and then someone comes with everything they've been looking for.

So there you are. Alone. Left behind because there's someone who's better than you. And all those efforts you've exerted are now meaningless. Wasted.
